“Our property had been damaged in the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquake sequence, and we were disappointed that the damage was deemed 'cosmetic' only. We contracted Malcolm to do a full Scope of Works on our property, which he did. He found several issues, not least that we had tested positive for asbestos, which had never been mentioned in any of the other visits we had over the 10 years since the quakes. Malcolm organised quotes from contractors and suppliers, all of which were accepted. We had to move out of our property while the repairs and asbestos removal were done.
